Morton Special Operations is a team based in Morton, IL, and is recruiting dedicated players to join us in attending various events through the summer, culminating in our appearance at Codename: THUNDER. We are a group of college students who will be reunited during the summer and formed a team based around the Codename: THUNDER event. The team plans on attending events during the summer in the central IL area, as well as some of the events up north. Depending on schedules, the team may be present at events during the fall or spring.
Statement:
We at MSO hope to promote friendly player interaction and integrity through the sport of airsoft.
Team Structure:
Team Leader: Responsible for all tactical decisions on the field. The Team Leader shall also designate fireteam leaders if necessary. Off the field, the Team Leader is responsible for scheduling skirmishes, events, and organizing practices.
Members: Normal guys who have been accepted as part of the team. They will follow the decisions of the Team Leader. They are responsible for a fireteam if appointed leader. Expected to attend practices when able, as well as attend scheduled events.
FNGs: New guys. Expected to listen to the members and the Team Leader as well as attend scheduled practices and events. They become members by voting procedure.
Loadout Requirements:
We plan on playing as Cartel (or whatever faction that opposes the US) again at Thunder this year. As such, no US patterns. We prefer black, grey, urban, digital urban, subdued, tan, etc.
Gear is left completely up to the individual. Black is a popular choice for us, CB/CT is as well. Try and keep it modern, but ALICE rigs are accepted.
Sidearms are encouraged, even if it’s a springer pistol. As long as you have something that keeps you in play in case of a gun hit.
Hydration is important for the longer events. Please invest in a way to replenish your body’s fluids.
A fail-proof list of what you need:
· “Tactical” pants.
· Boots.
· Dark solid color Tshirt.
· Some sort of device on your body to carry gear. ALICE, MOLLE, Prefabs (all of us used black crossdraws). Pattern rules apply.
· Either a PB mask or satisfactory goggles with balaclava/shemagh. If you’re under 18, full PB mask is required.
· Radio and earbuds to listen to it with. For events.
· Hydration. For events.
· Lastly, an AEG.
· Even more lastly, BBs.
Other Requirements:
• Must be at least 17 with a way to get to and from events/skirmishes.
• Must be likeable. By us
• Must be willing to work with teammates.
• Be an honorable player. We have no need for cheaters.
• Must be dedicated. We don’t ask much, but what we do ask we expect.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO FOLLOW SAFETY RULES.
This should go without saying. Unsafe behavior can be grounds for removal. I reserve the right to change these rules at any time.
